A Pop Conference Parody

This past weekend, the Experience Music Project and the International Association for the Study of Popular Music co-hosted the annual Pop Conference at NYU (home of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music). The theme was “Sounds of the City,” and the event brought together music scholars, writers and enthusiasts of all kinds. It was a weekend full of scholarship, geekery and music.
